Well, I was so hyped to play this, but it really let me down.
For one, controls are simply to spastic. I like that you tried to fix the screwy hand to hand from the first one, but its simply to hard to execute combos correctly when you're flying all over the place, and usually to your death.
I liked some of the new game modes, like having to kill as many AI enemies that just wonder around. That was a great idea. It took me a bit to figure it out since the game in no way explains to you that your playing a new game mode, which is a little tedious.
Another bad point- The new levels. Some are awful. Events happen way to often. Example- When playing on the farm, is it really necessary for me to get mauled by cows every 10 seconds?
The new characters are pretty bland. In the first CF, every character was simply awesome, each with their own unique weapon. While that remained in this game for the most part, it really feels like you went for quantity instead of quality.
Overall, this game feels almost unplayable with its crazy controls and lack of good characters.
This was great
Its been so long since I've played a horror game that really had me going. I was really on edge once I first saw the ghost from the hospital room. And in addition to that, the games puzzles were exceedingly harder than I expected. Which is great, because that made it not only the best horror, but hardest puzzle game as well. With that said. Some of the puzzle elements were tedious(that puny little flashlight battery had me stuck for a while) But all in all, this was a great one.
Everything is improved and great. However some minor problems.
EQ's. I really want to be able to change my bands EQ. For example: I want a powerful, and blaring bass. Not one that dissapears almost completely behind a guitar. If i could set volumes of everyone it would be great.
Also, the new controls for playing are just simply difficult. I had to compose some long ass simple songs to get through campaign, and at the half way mark i just gave up. The keyboard keys just dont feel natural enough for that kind of configuration. Now if my notes came across a bar, and maybe one lines was q-t, then a-g and z-b, it could be much more playable, because honestly, theres very little correlation between the minigame and the instrument.
With that said, Im still blown away at how much time and work you put into this. And that I have to acknolledge. All in all, keep it up.
Very, very, very, frustrating.
This game is only hard because the cues are too difficult to recieve.
Audio cues? I find myself, even after trying headphones, its virtually guessing as to how many arrows are coming your way. The background music is too overwhelming for audio cues. Also, what type of enemy is coming? For all I know, it could be a legion. Or maybe just a farmer. Who knows?
Another thing, there seems to be some sort of cooldown for actions such as jumping. Example: Speeding up and jumping over the long spike pit, followed by a wooden log before I am able to jump again leads to a death. Not because I messed up or lacked skill, but because the game cant generate fully beatable terrain.
Now about those tree branches you need to duck...They are too hard to see. One thing, there should not be identical trees to that one. Oh look! Its one of those trees that need to be ducked! Oh what was that? A background prop? Well that just got me killed.
And finally, theres something wrong with the scripting of this game. It shouldn't lag like this. Its ubsurd. I know its very graphicly intense, but it shouldn't bog me down this much.
With all of that said, the story narrating was great, and the graphics were fantastic. I like a challenging game, but I feel like its not so much reaction as it is me dying in a cheap fashion. All of my obstacles need distinct cues. Maybe make them come faster? When I have to decipher and react its just to much to proccess.
This has to be inspired by metroid fusion.
This is a great game. Your creature design is great, and above all, the story telling and cutscenes are wonderfull. The leveling is in no way deep, but it kind of keeps you on edge and interested.
However this really does suffer from some gameplay issues. For one, to call this a horror game, its not frightening or scary. It may creep a kid out, but other than that its not gruesome or terrifying enough. I did like the scene towards the beggining where you met the man who was pinned to wall, it was a good scene, but highly cliche. The lack of horror really holds this back from being outstanding. The terrain is also a tad bland and Deja vu towards the latter end of the game. Dont get me wrong, your level design is good, but its just redundant when I feel like I have been down the same hallway or corridor 30 times.
Also, the movement is a little clunky. Due to the lack of precise moving you have to do, its not to bad, but it can be VERY tedious, especially getting up those double jump edges.
All in all, I loved this experience, and I nostalgiad pretty hard. Cant wait to see more of your work.
Great, you keep getting better and better
I just wish you wouldnt have left your original fanbase here for your pay site:(
Will you release anymore for us?
Based of the coolest melody combo in the game

Physicsare so inconsistent
I memorize the spot i need to shoot for next try, only to have the bullet act in a completely different way, especialy when knocking around things like balls or blocks
The puzzles are pretty pointless
With little to no clues to what im supposed to be doing exactly(besides kill everything) the game is just a hunt for clickable items. for example- when you go to the singers house, i was clueless to my objective. Then after raging for 10 or so minutes, i looked at the guide and learned i was supposed to scan the books and computer. now how the fuck was i supposed to figure that out? whereas when i was in the room with the 4 agent guys pointing guns at me, my objective was much clearer.
